You’re invited back to the International Dinner in person! This September, the University YMCA and the International Student and Scholar Services Office will host the 39th Annual International Dinner. This dinner, held Friday, September 9, 2022, will feature food trucks, desserts from around the world, and performances that showcase the cultural richness in Champaign County. It will also kick-off Welcoming Week 2022!
Each person/organization participating is asked to cook a dessert from their country of origin that can safely be kept at room temperature. All cooks are asked to cook enough for 150 very small portions (think a spoonful or a bite), and the University YMCA will reimburse you up to $40 for items purchased to prepare your dish. The dinner takes place between 6:30-8:30 pm, but cooks are asked to arrive no later than 6:00 pm. Additional information will be provided as the dinner approaches.
