The art of Ricardo Levins Morales draws on his many years of activism in movements for equality, social justice and environmental sanity. He was born in Puerto Rico and became active as a young person in Chicago in the late 1960s. His love for making art slowly merged with his commitment to making waves, and this combination informs his approach to organizing and movement building. “Seeds of Resistance” is a selection of Levins Morales’ work for social justice and liberation.
All Art @ the Y events are free and open to the public.
