MLK Commemoration Celebration

Description: Join the University of Chicago community as we honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and reflect on our collective responsibility to work towards a more equitable society.

Rev. Dr. William J. Barber II and Sherrilyn Ifill will offer keynote remarks. Barber is President and Senior Lecturer of Repairers of the Breach, and Ifill is President and Director-Counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. The program also features performances by the Chicago Children’s Choir.

Doors open at 5:00pm. American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation will be available. Please visit mlk.uchicago.edu for additional details.
