Experience the therapeutic effects of Shinrin-Yoku, the practice of immersing or “bathing” the senses in the atmosphere of the forest. Proven health benefits of time in nature include reduced blood pressure and stress (cortisol) and increased immune functioning, energy and focus. Enjoy a slow, mindful guided walk through Busey Woods as you awaken your senses and absorb nature. Each walk will include a variety of sensory awareness activities and local wild edibles.
