|Join Jodi Adams for a workshop designed to help reverse the mental, emotional, and physical damage done to our bodies by sitting a desk for a majority of the work day. They say sitting is the new smoking, causing obesity, diabetes, and chronic pain. When we can begin to see the chair as a prop, much like a block, bolster or a strap used in a traditional yoga class, then we can use it to deepen our practice.|
Jodi quit the corporate world 8 years ago to become a certified yoga teacher, and knows how challenging it can be to balance a work life with a healthy life. In this class, she will show you some easy and accessible ways to do core work, access a deeper stretch, and to use the chair for standing poses. For those brave enough to try, the chair can be used to go upside down!
