[Illinois] MARCHING ILLINI DOWNTOWN CHICAGO RIVERBOAT PERFORMANCE

The Marching Illini, celebrating their 150th anniversary, took to the waters of the Chicago River for a riverboat performance as part of our Illini Days celebration.

Director Barry Houser and the Marching Illini made stops along the route to play your favorite songs.

The band casted off at 11:25 a.m. just east of Michigan Ave., heading west and then south down the river.

The boat’s final destination was at the Illini Center on Adams St. arriving at approximately 12:45 p.m.
