More than 630 Purdue employees have expressed interest in enrolling in Purdue University Global since the new opportunity was announced on April 2.
The PG Education Benefit allows all eligible Purdue employees to pursue a degree from Purdue Global, tuition free. This applies to employees at the West Lafayette and all Purdue system-wide campuses, as well as other benefits-eligible employees such as those living around the state and working for Purdue Extension, Purdue Research Foundation and Purdue Alumni Association.
Spouses, children or immediate family members (sons/daughters-in-law, grandchildren and step grandchildren) can do the same and receive a 50 percent tuition discount for most programs at Purdue Global.
Before a Purdue employee or a family member get started, there are few things to do and know. First, review the PG Education Benefits Guidelines and the PG Education Benefits Manual located here, which provide more details about the PG Education Benefits and specific tuition discounts by program.
Next, fill out completely an intake form, available at http://www.purdue.edu/
Once a completed intake form is submitted, an admissions advisor will call to help the employee or their family member complete the admissions process. Due to the volume of interest and individualized attention, the advisor’s response may take up to six business days.
Not all programs are available each term start and admissions advisors can only service students interested in the current cycle/start date, and up to two consecutive start dates out.
